Well guys the good weather is back so beach and BBQ's are back, Wattamolla in the national park for us today

100% agree with maryrose, we were similar when we first moved out here and did the northern beach bit but got old quick, personally I'd aim for balmain nice places to eat and drink but non touristy

Exactly, although on the plus side just been talking to the oldies and it's still in the minus back home, shouldn't complain but I'm english so I feel I must.

Hi I like spring wood, living st Clair east of penrith as I couldn't cope with lower mountains commute but great places, but as previous poster gotta be picky with the suburbs st Clair's working for us

Hi kazza there's many a good place, we've been here a while and lived in the city, hills, and now west ish in st Clair can recommend all we simply moved out west for the big house and pool when we had are kiddo who's now 3, had a few reservations as we didn't know anyone out west side of syd but it's a great family feel and motorways all directions makes it easy to get around.

Just wanted to follow on from Lesley Neil all pretty reasonable spots, was impressed with Rouse hill when we were last looking, particularly for value for money.
