Visa grant today!!!!! Yay. Only 4 weeks fr date of lodgement! So excited

i fel your pain and feel sorry for you. it really is a nightmare at times but believe me its worth it when your there i lived there for 2 years and have longed to go back ever since, but like yourself it has been a struggle at times (its taken me 2 years to get all the info together and apply) but if you stick with it and you want it enough you'll make it out there!

im heading hopefully soon (no visa as yet but i think im close fingers crossed) but as luck would have it i already have oz electrical licenses and a kiwi one all transferable by mutual recognition yay. go down to adelaide and do it there and then transfere it to wa.

getting closer. now just have the nz pcc to upload and then i hope its visa time after that :goofy: my case officer is the best bloke in the world, quick, concise, professional replies from him. He really has made me feel a lot less confused/panicky over everything by just giving me a simple instruction of what exactly he needs to progress the visa app. i sent him an email monday night when i said i had uploaded more stuff and he replied by 9:30 am his time tuesday saying all was fine and just reminding me about the nz pcc. absolute legend!

went to bali, hotel was $63 a night. nice hotel and very cheap for what it was, however on the last night took the missus out for a meal on the beach front at the hotel. i did try and ask how much it was for the banquet before they sat us down but they didn't really "understand" me so i thought it couldn't be that expensive and sat down anyway. worked out to be the equivalent of $85 each for food:chatterbox: that is the equivalent of spending 1 billion dollars for a meal in oz

Most of the time this means you good to go when you get the PCC's but it is DIAC after all. I have learnt never take anything for granted with immi until you can see it in black and white!!! :wink: Good luck

actually i just had a good idea. if i got it from the net it would have been in my downloads on my comp so i just looked it up and it was still there and it def does not have a signature so does anyone know what the case officer is asking for? i had uploaded the whole letter to him at time of application so is he just wrong? it does say on my document check list as well that it is 'met'. thanks

i got a successful outcome letter for electrician general in june 2011. i applied for 176 and got a co. he has asked for the second page of the skills assesment letter with the assessors signature and date of outcome but i dont seem to have a page with the assessors signature, it only has the date of outcome and a code which i assume is the assesors number. can i get a replacement letter or does anyone else know about this page i dont know weather ive lost it or what happened. i dont think i lost it im pretty sure i didnt get one seeing as i got the outcome letter from the net online portal..... thanks all

yep, my co was very specific in the couple of things he wanted. he asked for oz and New Zealand pcc, we got our nz pcc just hadnt uploaded them yet. he also asked for our lease on our aprtment for defacto requirements. thought i had uplodaed that but obv i forgot getting confused with the miles of paperwork i have uploaded lol. i think i must have got a very good case officer from what i read on here some can be a bit vague in what they want the email he sent me seemed personalised for me rather than an automated response like some others get, if you know what i mean.

YAY, co assigned yesterday just asking for oz pcc + a couple of other small things. whoop!

I always find that a bottle of whiskey, a 30gram bag of port royal black label tobacco and a strip bar are the only things that take my mind off it (by the way if my girlfriend is reading this replace the word strip bar with 'watching a soppy movie with her')

thanks ppl. i have ordered a police check but i was just wondering weather i should declare it now before i got the cert or what to do lol. freaking out to the max cause ive spent so long and so much cash on this immigration that i would be devestated if this stupid thing got in the way. fingers crossed it comes back clear then

About 6 years ago I got a 150 quid fine and 3 points for causing a car accident. no-one was injured and i admitted it was my fault (rear ended someone) I have been informed that this will be on my criminal record apparently. is this true? i had no idea that this would be a criminal offense. anyway i have submitted my application for a 176 without declaring this and i have also been in oz on a whv and a tourist visa and never declared it or noted it on my landing card. I honestly thought it was only a criminal offense if i received a ban from driving or worse. are speeding tickets included as well? anyway what on earth do i do now? have I messed up my chances on a visa? Im still waiting on my pcc to come back to me but should i do something now?? help from one of the agents in this forum would be really appreciated for this. I am going to speak to go matilda on monday if i can but im panicking now and advice is needed before i sleep again! thankyou

sorry peoplei know this has been asked a zillion times but i googled it and cant find the answer. My application wont let me open form 10 and i cant find it on the immi website, what do i do? thanks a lot sorry to ask this question again

i just lodged. 1 1/2 years after starting the process on my document check list there is no request for evidence of work experience... ive uploaded most of it anyway.

hello all. I am currently in new zealand on a whv. I have been here for 1 year. i am doing my 176 form and it asks for my country of residence and my address there, i put down northern ireland and my address back home because that is my usual country of residence. then it asks for current postal address and i put down my address in new zealand, however it wont save this postal address it keeps resetting itself to my address in the uk. am i doing this right and why wont it let me save my current address? thankyou.

on the oz police check wedsite as well there is a message saying that there is a big backlog on applications so it could take quite a while to get it back
