As mentioned above. I am also a building surveyor and when introducing myself as such most employment agents turned away not interested. I however being older i have 15 years experience and I am chartered through IOB and therefore classified as a project manager/ contracts manager. Amazing how employment agencies are now interested!
Im very lucky that I sailed through VETASSESS, now just the final stages of the visa application. I feel very sorry for graduate surveyors just now as there is no work in uk to gain the experience to move on. He will also find the rics will not allow him to start his APC until he has a job. A cruel circle.
