There are a few 175 January 2011 applicants got co and also 1 Feb 2011 that got straight grant. :biggrin: Although this is only the odd one or two from 2011 175ers, it's something...... but i wouldn't hold my breath:confused:

There are 6 weeks left till the end of September including this week. As they officially reached 26th August, with a processing speed of one month of applications per week they would reach 26th of February by the 30th of September. Without being pesimistic, that sounds soooo unlikely.

Having said that, with a bit of luck, you can still get your visa in September as they don't always process the applications in chronological order and the official timeline is not really accurate. As we've seen lately they assigned COs and granted visas to end of September 2010/beginning of October 2010 applicants. Therefore anything can happen.

you are correct..... Visa Processing order can be changed due to various factors such as HR/LR, 18th of march email, medi and pcc finalized etc.... therefore, hopefully they will move on Feb-2011 before end of the September.

I hope they will update the allocation dates next Friday... very curious to see how much progress they have made. It can't be much, with all the old-newSOL-cat4 applicants that are processed now, but still, it should be more than just 10 days in two weeks, don't you think?

Day before yesterday i called to my agent. they told me that i will get co before 30th of September. If so DAIC should move more than 14 days in two weeks. :idea:

so we are now seeing things starting to move this is fantastic to see :jiggy:, I was just looking at the Allocation Dates for General Skilled Migration Applications and noticed that the 885 are being processed at a faster pace also see above these are those that we have seen being allocated CO or visa grant so I don't think it will be long before we see the old applicants getting CO

Hello Tania, - I have opened a mail sent on the 19th August from my agent saying I have a CO and need to go ahead with Medicals and Police Check and a AFP !! Team 4 whooo hoooo!!!!

No, I doubt you have to wait. This includes applicants who received the 18th March email and as such any comms from DIAC in regards to the 18th March email supersedes these dates. I imagine you will have a CO by September, don't worry!

 

This is why its very very hard to predict, as you have so many varying factors (18th March email applicants, the DIAC website update, HR vs LR etc etc).

OK So this was a shocker for me. This is based on the Guys and Gals on ExpactForum who are keeping the following sheet updated http://tinyurl.com/P3-Spread-Sheet

 

It is calculated on the amount of days from date of application to date of getting a CO.

 

What it doesn't consider is high risk and low risk applicants and the 18th March email applicants. What I have done is remove any un-normal ones and then averaged it out.

 

You will also see from the sheet that 90% have been granted and this sheets shows that front loading works as long as your willing to take the risk.

I received 18th march letter. so i thought i would get CO before July. Again they changed processing priorities. They told i will get CO by September.According to this analysis i have wait end of this year to get co........... Another along wait................. :cry: :cry: :cry:

no, we did not get the March 18th email. I have no idea what would be realistic. Probably for us (feb2011) somewhere between Oct2011-Feb2012.....

I Applied one week before day that you applied feb-2011. i received 18th of march letter.

I just informed my agent. They told that My application will be started to further process withing this month or next month. Today also i mailed them. i am waiting for their reply.

I would say that they are already pre allocating/screening Jan/Feb applications now. If you look at the following sheet, http://tinyurl.com/P3-Spread-Sheet most in November have a CO and some have a grant. This falls in line with the prediction that March applicants will be done in Sept and April in October. That said there are a few cases it would appear that get missed or ones from high risk countries that go for extra processing.

Cat 4 co are being allocated up to 26 aug 10 now as per diac page! 10 days movement

too slow......... Previously they moved at least by month(30days) per fort night....

Not in Oz yet,still in South Africa. We applied for 175 in March '2011 but have decided to do medicals (even though we don't have CO yet) end Sept. Our agent advised us to book our medicals for around that time.

 

I know a lot of people disagree on this but we are willing to take the risk of doing it before we have C.O because I'm trying to stay positive and just believe that we'll have visa before Sept 2012 when medicals expire. Thats also why I was trying to figure out how expensive medicals are in other countries because I'm sure that must have some kind of influence on the decision to do it before C.O asks for it. Converted to pounds,we pay about 340pounds for family of 4 in S.A.

 

Have you decided yet if you're going to do medicals 3 Sept?
