Makes you wish you’d chased them for phone call now lol. You never know what to do for the best !!
I've been in to them twice now... cause I can't get through on the phone. I've been told that all was in order and I just needed to wait. So frustrating to be honest.

Just an update, got an email on Friday from the case officer..... woohoo!!! They are looking for the outstanding AoS. I did this on 16/10/16 and still haven't received the phonecall. Going in to Centrelink in the morning... AGAIN. They also advised that they will be requesting 2nd vac of $87,200 once the AoS letter has been received.

That is a great question.
We recently did ours... filled in on the pc... printed all out, scanned back in after signing and then emailed the scanned file.
I never even thought of it to be honest. Just wanted the forms sent ASAP.
We shall watch this space. Anyhow, it is way better than to have to courier papers to Aus.
I am so excited and can not wait to see how soon in the new year we will get contacted. In the meantime we are getting everything ready and sorting our Kitty cat's papers out as well.
Who else is waiting for the AOS call? Our son applied on 23 Nov 2017 and hasn't had the call from Centrelink yet. Any other dates?
We applied for AoS on October 16th and still haven't heard anything. Went in to Centrelink this week to check all was ok and they said that all was fine, just needed to wait ?

My mam had a mini stroke before her medical (at 56). They haven't received the visa yet but the doctor who conducted the medical just asked for a specialist report to be emailed to him. She was obviously nervous it would impact the outcome but he did say to her that this is a parent visa, and as such many applicants have various medical conditions.

That's amazing.
We have now entered our 8th week since submitting our AOS application. We have called centrelink 3 times and visited them twice since then. Zero updates since. Paying them another visit next Thursday. Unbelievably slow and inconsistent.
Can I ask you what you said when you visited them? Were they any help?

Would you believe it, my daughter got her AOS phone call last night!! Now waiting for letter to open bank account. Now we wait!!
That's incredible, congratulations. I wonder why it's so long for some and so short for others, when they are all processed centrally?

Thanks for that... guess I'll just have to keep my phone beside me at all times ?

Thanks so much for all of your replies. Just trying to plan ahead. Still waiting on an update re AoS. It's a phone call I'm waiting on, right?

That's exciting, congrats. I'm just waiting for the call from Centrelink about the AoS. Lodged with Centrelink Oct 16th, it seems to take anywhere from 4 - 12 weeks based on the experience of others, no rhyme or reason as to which ones make it through quicker as it's all done centrally!!

We're in this funny stage now, will be submitting form 80s and police checks over this weekend. Medicals are done and I went in to do the aos on October 16th. My parents are coming over for a 6 week holiday on December 19th so probably doubtful that they'll hear anything before they come...

You can add me too please (on behalf of my parents!!) Also, can anyone else comment on whether it is sufficient for me to be aos for both of my parents - or whether I should include hubby too?

Quick question. My parents applied for 143 18/03/15. Yesterday they received an email inviting them to submit their further documents - medicals/police checks/aos
Is it usually acceptable for just one person to be the aos for 2 parents - ie. just me? Or should my husband also be an aos?
Thanks in advance I am so excited to have heard from PVC after all of this waiting.
