  1. We are unfortunately breaking lease on our 4 bedroom rental in Mango Hill (postcode 4509) on the Park Vista Development http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-mango+hill-411280943 The house will be vacant from 30th July and I would really appreciate someone taking over the lease on this lovely house. It is a large almost brand new (< 1 year) 4/2/2, and is currently listed at $430 per week. Details: 4 Double size bedrooms. The master has en-suite with walk-in double size shower. Study Media Room Open plan kitchen/diner/living room Double garage Dishwasher Split air conditioning to Master and main living area All other rooms have ceiling fans Easy to manage gardens front and rear Bathroom with separate bath and shower Separate WC Utility room NBN ready (National Broadband Network) with speeds up to 100Mb (not widely available in Australia outside CBD's and a real bonus) Gas hot water system Gas cooker top Electric fan oven Opening for an American size fridge/freezer (1M wide) Centre kitchen island/breakfast bar Energy saving lighting Plenty of power outlets in all rooms Covered alfresco area approached by two sets of sliding doors Fly screens to all windows and doors Neutrally decorated throughout Carpets in most rooms In tip top condition and ready to move into. My family have lived in this quiet new estate for over 9 months now but due to unfortunate circumstances we are going back to the UK. The next family who choose to live here will be very happy with the size, quality and location of this lovely home. My phone is 0432654737 if you want to call before this coming Wednesday or just email markcwebster@hotmail.co.uk and I can put you in contact with the real estate office handling the property. Thanks
  2. Hi guys I just though for anyone who might be interested in this thread that it is possible to take advantage of the 40KG allowance even if you have previously validated your visa. An organisation called IOM (reference to them is made on your visa grant notice email) are able to act as travel agents and as a result have an agreement mostly with Emirates to grant a 40KG allowance for all travellers whether travelling on a validated visa or not. The flight ticket price for one-way travel was almost impossible to beat as well and they will be happy to give you the itinerary you want too, so a really good deal all round I would say.
  3. I have been reading this thread with much interest and would like to ask for some advice about exporting my car. I have a 176 visa and will be relocating to Adelaide some time around September 2013. Wish it was earlier but I have a contract to fulfil :mask: Anyway, I have a : VW Golf GTi MkV 5 Door Manual / 50K miles / 2006 / Aircon as standard UK Value: £8000 min as it has extras fitted such as Leather interior, Bi-Xenons, rear side airbags, ipod connection & multichanger. AUS Value: $17,300 - $19,700

I have a 176 visa and will be relocating to Adelaide some time around September 2013. Wish it was earlier but I have a contract to fulfil :mask: Anyway, I have a much loved VW Golf GTi MkV 5 Door Manual 50K miles purchased new in 2006 for approx £24K. It has extras fitted such as Leather interior, Bi-Xenons and I wondered if it was worth the hassle of going through the exporting process. If it is would it be possible to ask for a ball park figure for costs.
