<p><p>We got our visa at the begining of Nov so its all full speed ahead as we will be moving before the end of May this year with a trip planned in 4 weeks!</p></p>

<p><p>Found an old friend who I grew up with is running a recruitment agency in Perth so will let you know how I get on and if you could benefit from meeting with him.</p></p>

<p>We are currently having few problems as the case worker wants a reference from an employer i had last year who went into administration but they are insisting i trace someone to provide this!!! driving me insane at the moment but am sure i will overcome this.</p>

<p>Glad to hear your visa is applied for and now sitting tight waiting!!! we are a little behind you as we were in Australia until 18th July which was a little longer than expected due to the ash cloud over oz which closed down the airports! We certainly didnt complain at the extended stay! We managed to get the visa in on the 20th June so we will have to patiently wait ourselves. We are currently planning a trip to Perth for early next year as we have also heard it could be a very quick turnaround on the visa process so we are thinking of renting a house and having a month over there to find somewhere suitable to live, Maybe a little optomistic but i think the only way is to be completely positive in this! Have you sought out an area to live as yet?</p>

<p>You gave me some fantastic advice a while ago now about doing a stat dec as my children cannot join me as the ex is very bitter etc... as i recall you had gone through the same issue! I am about to lodge my visa and wondered if you could advise me on if there is a specific form that i require to fill in or was it just a matter of putting pen to paper on this issue?</p>

<p>Also the check list asks for passport photos of all dependants even if they are not joining you! will the stat dec also cover this issue?</p>

<p>Have had the approval of SS from WA today so we are absolutely over the moon at the speed of the turnaround from them, Hope you have heard back on your application and your another step closer to lodging your visa application as we are now going to be getting this sorted over the next couple of weeks and lodged.</p>
