1.

Hi mlsdq, if your fiance has got PR and you will not proceed to 887 visa, then you may not need to worry about your commitment to SA as long as you “notify” both states that you move from/to. Actually once you arrived, DIAC will not locate where you are, however, when you apply for the spouse visa you will need to prove that you two have lived together for more than 12 months and due to the 475 visa's condition it could be a problem if you have lived in Gold Coast. Anyway I wish you all the best!

As to live and work in a regional area in the other states than the one which sponsored you, DIAC says "If you wish to move to another regional area to live and work, you must notify both your current and new state or territory government of this change." and doesn't say that you need to get permissions, however, SA state government should get upset especially if you have never even lived in SA and QLD state government may be against it, then it may affect to your application on the next stage i.e. 887 PR visa. If I could I wish to move to regional QLD too, especially to Cairns as I have the tourism background, but I can't take the risk and I will probably make the move after I secure PR. Keep me posted how it goes.

 3.

Hi mlsdq again, Oh, I thought you were coming to Adelaide where I am now. As far as the visa condition is concerned we, 475 visa holders, can "live" and "work" in any regional areas in the country but as you know Gold Coast is not classified as a regional area unfortunately. You can visit there but can't live there "legally" (you may be asked where you were for that period when you apply for PR as they know you were in AUS) and I don't think the state governments can assist you in any way because it's ruled by DIAC.

 4.

G'day mldg, Tons of congratulations on your visa!!! *hugs & tears* I believe it was definitely one of the best moments that you had ever had in your life and you might have cried, like I did when I got my visa after long wait... Adelaide is good place to live in but there are not many job opportunities for migrants despite SA is most active in getting people in. You may wish to start researching on <a href="http://www.seek.com.au" rel="external nofollow">www.seek.com.au or <a href="http://www.careerone.com.au" rel="external nofollow">www.careerone.com.au. All the best!
