1.

hi hon, didnt read your reply here.... yes will phone DIAC this week and we are so ready to move to a regional area under my visa condition enevtually, but will know how long can i stay here, JOBLESS! and thanks for that positive response regarding the spouse visa, and we're together for almost 3 years now, and theres none in the booklet that we need to prove we llive together for 12months to apply spouse visa? how could DIAC be so cruel to stop us getting married????!!!!! all our parents want us to get married and have children too already! maybe in de facto visa, yes to provide 12month proof. ill let u know what happens after we phone them! *hug*

 2.

Hi mlsdq, if your fiance has got PR and you will not proceed to 887 visa, then you may not need to worry about your commitment to SA as long as you “notify” both states that you move from/to. Actually once you arrived, DIAC will not locate where you are, however, when you apply for the spouse visa you will need to prove that you two have lived together for more than 12 months and due to the 475 visa's condition it could be a problem if you have lived in Gold Coast. Anyway I wish you all the best!

yeah i know they will get upset BUT, i have a fiancee and its more expensive and costly to more to SA together knowing we have also furniture at home and car and its gonna be so hassle to move there.... and my fiancees work is at QLD and if we move to SA, he cant have a work right away and so do i, which makes a lot harder then.... so i think SA will understand since before I am so interested to live there just that I got engaged while i wait for my visa and thats something SA cant stop us doing that.

regarding PR, me and my fiance plans to get married so we apply for a spouse visa before my 475 ceases, so i think thats fine? let me know if you change state when you have your PR already so if incase youre in QLD, we could meeeetttt!!!!!!

As to live and work in a regional area in the other states than the one which sponsored you, DIAC says "If you wish to move to another regional area to live and work, you must notify both your current and new state or territory government of this change." and doesn't say that you need to get permissions, however, SA state government should get upset especially if you have never even lived in SA and QLD state government may be against it, then it may affect to your application on the next stage i.e. 887 PR visa. If I could I wish to move to regional QLD too, especially to Cairns as I have the tourism background, but I can't take the risk and I will probably make the move after I secure PR. Keep me posted how it goes.

 5.

Hi mlsdq again, Oh, I thought you were coming to Adelaide where I am now. As far as the visa condition is concerned we, 475 visa holders, can "live" and "work" in any regional areas in the country but as you know Gold Coast is not classified as a regional area unfortunately. You can visit there but can't live there "legally" (you may be asked where you were for that period when you apply for PR as they know you were in AUS) and I don't think the state governments can assist you in any way because it's ruled by DIAC.

 6.

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it was a shock again! hahahaha CO recived the medicals that day and finalised them and granted me the visa.....i didnt expect it coz she was asking for my new scanned passport and i sent the wrong one and she replied with a grant after i sent the right oneeee ...yesss i know the feelinggg its very different after a long wait!!!!! and regarding the place, im gonna stay in qld since my fiancee lives there so i still have to find out if i can stay in gold coast *tho not gonna work yet* for like 9 months or a year before we move to the regional area in qld coz he has a contract on his lease for 9 months or so still... is that okay to stay in gold coast but not working? ill right a love letter to both states about this and im sure they will understand my situation coz in a long time ive been waiting for the co letter and visa, my life has changed so this is going to be like this! where u at? hope we could meet and vickeymel too!! *hugs u tight*

 7.

G'day mldg, Tons of congratulations on your visa!!! *hugs & tears* I believe it was definitely one of the best moments that you had ever had in your life and you might have cried, like I did when I got my visa after long wait... Adelaide is good place to live in but there are not many job opportunities for migrants despite SA is most active in getting people in. You may wish to start researching on <a href="http://www.seek.com.au" rel="external nofollow">www.seek.com.au or <a href="http://www.careerone.com.au" rel="external nofollow">www.careerone.com.au. All the best!

 8.

hey!!!! yes finally it was a total shock to me coz out of the blue i got the CO email.... i didnt expect it.. so its like the more u dont expect the more it happens lol.... hows life in aus treating you!? ahhh soonnn hopefully cant really waitttttttttt for the waiting to be over!!!!! see ya around!!! *hugs*

 9.

Hey, mlsdg! Big congrats on your allocaiton to CO! I know it has been long and winding road and understand that how patient you needed to be but you are almost there! Wishing you come join us soon.

 10. Thank you, but in http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/sir.htm DIAC states; So I wonder if I can't apply for a permanent visa otherwise. Regards,
 11. Would anyone be able to clarify the below? 1. I understand that subclass 475 (Skilled Regional Sponsored - Provisional) visa holders can apply for RSMS visa even before satisfying 2 years live & 1 year work requirements, but does it have to be sponsored by the employer in the same state/territory that sponsored the 475 visa? or it can be the employer in a regional area in any state/territory? 2. Can subclass 475 visa holders apply for ENS visa before satisfying 2 years live & 1 year work requirements? Regards,
 12. I got the same visa on 15/04 and thought it was funny too. It must be an incorrect explanation and our visa should valid only until the expiry date regardless of the arrival date. Regards,
