  1. Love it, was going to get on my high horse and defend WA till I clicked on your link! All SO true! X
  2. Yes it is possible. My husband was 48 when he got sponsorship and is 50 this year! With the PR application we had to complete the "exceptional circumstances" part due to his age (this was after 2 years with sponsored company)
  3. We came across on a 457 visa through my husbands company who sponsored him. Me and the kids were on the visa (unskilled). We are now, after 2 years applying for PR as a family.
  4. Hi, we moved here in 2010 and one of sons also has ADHD. We live in Mindarie which is beautiful but expensive! Other surrounding suburbs such as Clarkson/Kinross are cheaper and still very nice. My son goes to Mindarie Primary School and will then go to Kinross College. The primary school are handling his issues well and there is good communication between myself and the teacher. Class sizes are pretty big which is always a disadvantage. As advised above Currambine is also a near suburb and very nice. Joondalup is a 10 minute drive and Clarkson has a train station to all the southern suburbs into the city. Before we moved we looked at the government website and looked at the results of the schools. Bear in mind when you choose a school you will, to guarantee a place, need to live in the catchment. You can often get a place if you are out of catchment but if they are full you will be turned down. Hope this helps. Lisa x
