Hi Guys, My wife applied for her spouse visa ( Subclass 309 and 100) few weeks ago through a migration agent. AFAIK Australian immigration department issues a TRN number whenever a visa application is lodged. When we asked agent to gave us the TRN number to check the status online, she only gave us the file number. Is it true that you only get file number when you apply for a visa outside Australia? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Guys, I want to apply for 885 visa onshore and friends are advising me to hire a migration agent to do all the paper work for me. Only problem is, they are so expensive. Anybody here from Brisbane,QLD who could help me prepare the application forms? I have got all the needed documents to support the visa application. I could do it on my own but a friend told me that last year his visa application got rejected because there were few mistakes in his visa application.
