  8. Thanks Ruby Tuesday. Thats really helpful and good to her your perception. I can't fault how helpful those schools have been todate. We loved Belmont and it felt right. Fingers crossed we secure work etc and can find a decent place to live ;-)
  9. Morning!!! Excellent news regarding your visa and points........ we orginally applied for a 175 (husband a plumber) in 2008, after him completing the vetasses the previous year. It was really slow all 2009 i don't think we heard anything they kept removing plumbers from there in demand list. He is also self employed and we weren't married so the amount of evidence we had to produce was massive. in 2010 we went for state sponsorship with victoria and got it (didn't take long) we then got a coase officer a few months after but i was pregnant so we couldn't do meds etc so it went on hold until a few months after the baby. Last may we did meds & police checks and in july we got the visa grant for a 176. I can't remember initially how many points we had or needed i know at the time of putting application he got full for his job i got full amount you could get and we got highest points for ages at the time only being 27. I know it was a few years back and i'm sure still is much quicker if onshore. x
  10. Thanks for your responses - much appreciated!

If you did the latter any stuff you shiped over does it stay in storage on Oz until you have an address? Also how many of you have actually got the visa put in your passport even though we don't have to? Is that the best thing to do on the job front and showing people residency?
