PR approvals coming in thick and fast now.
Maybe if everyone could add their timeline to their signature it will give us a better idea of what's going on.

Congratulations to those who got PR today.
What a difference a day makes.
3 approvals already today, I've got everything crossed hoping mine is coming soon.

I mean that people count the 28 day period from the submission date of extra docs, and I want to know if it is correct
No it's 28 days from request, that is the timeframe the department set themselves but it's not guaranteed. Like I said before they will look at it when they are ready no point stressing about it!

March 17th we lodged and had Medicals a few days later, when I spoke to the Admin team they told me "we had been allocated to team 1 and the CO has started working on it" I was told it's just down to the nomination approval now, I work from big company that have been sponsoring for a while now so I'm
Hoping it's all sorted soon!
Why are people saying end of June/start of July things start happening faster???
The new financial year starts on 1st July, some visa's may have already reached their quota for 2015.
Also there has been some strike action that may have had some effect on visa grants but that finishes today.

What is going on with your VISA anyway? All I can say is...absolutely disgraceful...
Yeah I get that, but most people would sent it quickly and get it in the 28 day period or bit over but cases like ours, we had to wait for IELTS scores for my parents and that made up most of the 28 days
I had problems with my application but it's all sorted now. I was advised by my MA that the last part has passed now and I should get the grant some time soon, although my definition and the departments definition of soon may vary considerably!

28 days after request or 28 days after submission? If after submission, where does it say?
I was told 28 days after request by my MA but the truth is the department look at them when they are ready. Nothing you can do but just sit tight and wait.

Hi, Could you please respond me?
I'm waiting for my PR approval see the timelines below:
186 TR
Nomination lodge : 11 March 2015
Medicals done : 02 June 2015.
Visa Lodge : 10 June 2015.
Nomination approved : 12 June 2015
Visa Approval : Waiting..........
You only lodged your visa application 2 weeks ago, standard waiting time is 4 - 6 months.
-
The documents are received (displayed on IMMIaccount) apparently
And can anyone answer this? I pressed this "request complete" thing. Was it OK to do so? Our period has expired anyway
You shouldn't really be pressing anything in you Immiaccount, you have an MA that is paid to manage your application. Leave it to the professionals. Anyway I doubt it will do anything but if you're not sure then why risk it.

Can someone tell how long does it take for the extra documents to be accepted? We submitted it 2 days before our deadline (17th June, asked on 22nd May and VISA on 13th of March) I have asked this question 3 times and no one seems to answer it
I answered you last week.
The department will review your documents 28 days after they request them. Some are reviewed quicker and some take longer. They may even decide they want more documents. They will approve your visa when they are ready. You only applied 3 months ago, that really isn't a long time compared to many others and you have to be patient.

How long will it take for ours to be assessed after submitting extra docs? We sent the application on March 13th, and we sent the extra docs on Wednesday and it says received
Please Answer
When were the extra docs requested?
The department advise that additional documents will be reviewed 28 days after the requested date although some are quicker and many are much slower.

Thanks websie. am really thankful to you giving me some information..... do you have any idea what would be the reason behind the changing CO. Thanks Alot
The way visa applications are processed has changed according to my MA.
Your file is reviewed by a case officer and any documents are requested. You have 28 days to submit these documents.
Your file is then placed back into a "pool" and sometime after the 28 days it is reviewed by the next available CO. This is why you don't always keep the same CO.
I called immigration once and was told my file was due to be reviewed that day, she then said but I can tell you we have not reached that days allocations yet and to wait another week or two!
Now that's customer service!

My boss told me its team 6 WA and am from melbourne . Three case CO change for my nomination every time they ask something new we provided all documents according to my checklist and they are asking again i don't know what they are doing...am really worry know.
Try not to worry. After each request for documents you are put back into a queue until another CO picks it up after the 28 days. That would be the reason you have a different CO each time.
I just noticed you were WA on the visa timeline, seems WA is a little behind maybe?

i know websie its very very hard time for us.... sometime i think they forget us....please God help us..
Do you know which centre is processing your application?
Mine is being processed in Perth although I live in Queensland.

Is Form 80 a required form and what is it? I heard it is some travelling document
Form 80 is not always required but it's wise to have it ready in case you are asked for it. We submitted ours anyway when we lodged our visa.
Part of form 80 covers all travel for the past 10 years.

Information requested for our family's VISA application. Don't know what it is because we haven't received a message
Visa submitted on 13/03/2015 (Nom on 10/02/2015)
Anyone have an idea why haven't I received anything?
They send the request to the nominated correspondence person. If you have a MA the request will have gone to them. Have you asked if they have received an email?
-
I have an important question, I have asked for an answer but I need an genuine answer
Regarding on the IMMIAccount, if you look on your file, can individual applicants look on your application file? Because I think I made a mistake of accessing the file (which there is an option) and despite our parents and MA uploading all documents separately, (did not have an account at that time) it displays as it is needed
What does "Recommended" mean anyway? (That is what it is displayed as) I am really concerned
Hey mate, stop worrying, there really is no reason to be concerned.
It just shows recommended against all items. (this is the same for all visas and all ages)
Once your documents are uploaded, it changes to Received.
If any further documents are required it will change to Requested.
