I booked these seats because of the mother in law is 83 and i thought it would be better to give her some extra leg room etc.

Been on many long haul flights now and i find the cheap headphones that have the buds to be just fine.If you push them in and have a good fit,they cancel out most of the planes noise.About £10 max for a good pair. Another tip is the further forward you are on the plane the less noise you will hear from the engines.

Good luck guys on your move to Oz. We are moving to Melbourne in 8 weeks time,but we are stopping with family for as long as we can.We are shipping most of are stuff over beds,tv's etc with pickfords. I've been to Melbourne 3 times now and most things you can get over there,except Vimto and Hollands pies,LOL.Forget about drinking beer over there its very expensive even from dan murphys.I suggest you either drink wine or brew your own beer. We are going by Qantas a380 airbus premium economy,that's the most we could afford. As for the weather,you know the song "4 seasons in 1 day" by crowded house, i think it was wrote about Melbourne.
