  1. Thanks guys Only thing to do is go for it with everything crossed Great advice much appreciated .... here we go
  2. Has anyone been in the same or similar situation when you/your partner has been granted a 457 visa but you/partner have quite serious future health issues? I say future as I am fine at the moment I work and have never had time off because of my illness but I will need quite a lot of medical attention including an operation in the future. We are willing to take out the top medical insurance would this help in our application? I have had some great advice already but was wondering if anyone else had been there done that (hopefully) with or without success?? Thanking you. And if anyone reads this who has already given advice it is greatly appreciated and informative but I have re-worded my post to try and find anyone who has maybe been in the same boat.
  3. Thanks for that fab advice you have really eased my mind. Your threads are very postive. Im trying to get excited but its getting overruled by anxiousness. Would it be a 457 visa then? I work full time and feel in good health and never had time off with my illness but they are deteriorating and I will need to be monitered. Im worried if I do get a temp visa and something happens while im over there it will cost me a fortune for example needing dialysis? Sorry to go on im at work and cant speak to an agent at the mo. Thanks again guys
  4. Hi all My partner has had a fantastic job offer from a big company in Oz, it is a fantastic opportunity and under normal circumstances we would be putting the house up for sale and packing today!!! The problem is I have health issues and may well be in need of dialysis within the next year. I was just wondering if the visa process is more lenient on health issues if a job has been offered as opposed to just going over on a wymm? Im really panicing now as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity but the timing couldnt be worse . Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading
  5. Hi, ive posted about this issue before 2 years ago, we have had to put plans on hold for a while but it seems our ball is finally beginning to roll again. I have received some fab advice in the past but wanted an update - Has anyone been accepted with Chronic Kidney Disease or a similar illness? I am likely to need a transplant in the not too distant future and was wondering whether this would hinder my chances of acceptance??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as my hubby is working very hard to try and secure a sponsor and im hoping its not going to be in vain because of me
