  1. Yeh the “Smoker” is happening. All happy and legitimate, made sure that all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. My consignment is within a consignment (groupage/shared container), I have my own paperwork and it will be removed from the container and cleared through customs separately. Sometimes you just need to think outside of the “Box”.
  2. Never thought of that, once we eventually get one, with somebody's help, we'll name it R2D2..... Can't wait to smoke - bacon, ham, oysters, cheese, fish... yummmmm
  3. Hahaha, I know it's crazy that you can buy this in UK and not here. It's not just a bbq, it's a smoker  have a look at this and you will want one too, it does show a small pig, so if you are a vegetarian, you may not want to watch (sorry). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSJv_0Liy90, oh and the ribs that you can do on it are to die for (better than Tony Roma's) We already have a 57cm Charcoal Weber and it's used all the time, but this one is the next step. Thanks for all of the links though, unfortunately they are all for the small one 47cm, we bought that one, brought it home and you can't even fit the rib rack in it, so it was returned. Have a look on youtube for "Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker", you will get very hungry
  4. Thanks Northernbird. It would be amazing if you are able to source one, we have tried everywhere, I have emailed a few shops to ask if they can ship, but no luck at the moment. It would be a brand new item, so there wouldn't be any worry with it. Anyway, here's a link which shows what we are wanting. http://www.bedsbbq.co.uk/barbecue-shop/weber-smokey-mountain-57cm.html, :daydreaming:
  5. Is there anybody coming to Perth in the near future that hasn't packed their container and would be willing to bring something over that we cannot get in Australia and it is so frustrating (not food).:arghh: Thank you
  6. Opps, file didn't work - I don't know how I can send you the pictures through??
  7. Hi Lara I know that you had specific suburbs in mind, but our friends have just put their house up for rent instead of selling, it is available now and they are willing to do at least a 12 month lease. It is in The Vines, which is a lovely suburb in the Swan Valley - they are wanting $450.00 pw - I have attached a file which has some photos in. It was just a thought.
  8. Just returned from a quick 2 week visit to the UK. I was all excited thinking that I would be bringing back a suitcase full of goodies, clothes, shoes etc. But no, I got some bargains at outlet shops, but all in all the prices were exactly the same as in Perth if not a bit more expensive. I found grocery shopping a little bit cheaper and with lot more variety, so that was good. The most horrific thing was fuel costs. We pay $1.42 per litre for diesel, it was 1.42 pds per litre, 6.45 pds per gallon!!
  9. Hi guys, Sorry, the couple which I knew about have both been taken. I have just seen this one just come up, it maybe worth a call, it doesn't say anything about pets.. http://www.realestateview.com.au/Real-Estate/5-domain-greenmount/Property-Details-rent-residential-4215095.html I will keep having a look out for you.
  10. There was a couple of houses to rent recently around here, let me check, it may take a day and I will get back to you. If you need to rant and rave over a beer, send us a pm and we can meet up :chatterbox:
  11. Hi guys, we're in Boya, in between everywhere that you are wanting to be, I haven't read all of the posts, but how big a house are you wanting. Is it just the two of you plus the dogs?
  12. Hi Yogesh, congratulations on obtaining your 475 visa. What are you coming in as, and where are you thinking of living?
  13. I would like to purchase 2 sofas and ship them over that I have seen on gumtree. Does anyone have some spare space in their shipping coming to Perth? It would be from Yorkshire/Lancashire. Thank you:rolleyes:
  14. OMG, you are so right, we lived just outside of Bradford, your comment really made me laugh. Now if they were talking about Mt Magnet, I would have sympathy, but we quite like Geraldton...
  15. Todds Furniture and Auctions are also very good http://www.toddsauctions.com.au/products-subcat.asp?iCategoryID=54
