May be a stupid question but...

Hi everyone,

Looking through all the DIBP site pages I am yet to find an answer to this question:

I know you need 60 points to qualify for a 189/190 visa but...it's doesn't tell you exactly how?

For instance, I can't find out if you DEFINITELY need a positive skills assessment, I have 30 points for age, 20 points IELTS, 5 for experience and if I took State Sponsorship I'd have another 5, equaling 60 points.

I am going through the skills assessment but it's just a question we've asked ourselves through this complex process of migrating.

Any answers would be great

Submitted 5 years, I know they take 3 years as 'training' so the other 2 count for nothing. Trouble is I can't prove my work from 06-08 because HMRC only go back 6 years and I can only get hold of employer statements for that period.

"

[h=3]Requirements[/h] You might be eligible to apply for this visa if invited. When we sent your letter of invitation, you must also have:

There's a tab that provides the eligible areas for claiming points.
