Guest monkeypixie
At the moment I'm completing the character forms (form 80) for me and my husband. There's a question on the form about details of current or intended visit to Australia. Does this mean, give us a date that you think you might be emigrating if you get a visa? Are you meant to just make up a date? Cheers for the help
Guest lcys2460
I took it to be any previous visits to Australia or if you intend to visit whilst your application is in progress. Unlikely they'd ask you to guess when you intend if you get visa. Good luck with the form filling!
Guest Gollywobbler
Hi Monkeypixie When I was dealing with my mother's Contributory Parent visa application, Form 80 was THE most irritating part of the whole thing. Bloody silly questions like, "Where do your Parents reside?" My mother was 85 at the time so I was tempted to put, "6 feet under. Where else do you expect?" An Aussie solicitor chum persuaded me that being a "Pommie Comedienne" with the form wouldn't help. On the question of when do you intend to get to Oz or whatever it says, I put "To be arranged" and left it at that. The visa was granted so I assume they accepted the answer. I hope this is of some use. Cheers Gill
