sahirchamp
Hi I will be applying for 887 Visa soon, Can I move to another state in regional area while my visa is being processed, I understand that after 887 is approved, I can live anywhere. I have lived in my nominated state for 2years working full time on 489 visa. Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ozmaniac
Yes you can. Your 489 visa conditions require you to live, work and study only in a 'specified regional area' but it can be in any state.

milliem
Much Thanks, So I can move out of my nominated state for 489 after 2 years.... The 2 year requirement is simply for meeting permanent residency application conditions. While the 489 is still in force you need to still comply with the regional requirements and restrictions. Any metropolitan area employer that does a VEVO check will find that the restrictions are still valid until the 489 is superseded by another visa. sahirchamp
Hi milliem, Thanks for your reply, I want to move in another state after 2 years completion which is next month, I still be living in regional area in new state, I think shouldnt be a problem. MaggieMay24
As Ozmaniac said, yes you can move to another state as long as you move to a specified regional area.
milliem
Yes If you stay regional you should be fine Millie
