MaggieMay24
I don't know much about Tasmanian sponsorship, but if you don't meet the requirements then you're unlikely to be invited.
Skani
Being nominated by a state is a basic requirement for a 190 visa so, unless you have that, I don't see you having any chance.

AFAIK, only the Northern Territory has University Lecturer on its list. Applicants must be suitable for the position of Research Associate or Research Fellow in a University and have a score of at least 7 in each IELTS component. Nominations are assessed based on the skills profile they present and their relevance to the NT's labour market.

Ozmaniac
thanks but i hv overall 7 and six each So?? There's nothing to stop you from doing IELTS again and you can update your EOI any time before you get an invitation. Of course, there's no guarantee that even if you do that you would get approval from the NT - they will only invite you if your particular skill set is required by CDU (the only university in the NT).
