Visa Granted!!! The long wait is over, good luck everyone. Nomination and visa lodge: 03/06/2015 Further documents requested for nom: 08/10/2015, submitted 15/10/2015 Nomination and visa approval: 10/11/2015 Processed in Victoria. I applied from Brisbane as a geologist. Didnt use an MA, work lodged nomination and we both did a bit of visa stuff each.

thats because when the spreadsheet was made, the majority of people from April and before were no longer on the forum and already had their visas approved. it is slow though. It used to be 3 to 4 months. Now it's 4 to 5 months.

Around this time last month there were a heap of visa grants! I remember they cleared a lot of may applicants. Lets hope all of June hear something this week. Im getting tired of waiting......

If immi dont request any further documents for your nom or visa then yes i think you will get it in November

Thats great. Congrats....Your grant took a long time since they requested your documents though......... do you know which processing centre?

For anyone wondering about training benchmark..... I think (i could be wrong) that ANYONE could be asked for updated training benchmark (even if your nomination was decision ready). I think they ask a handful of applications for an update ie. your company has STILL being spending 2% of training since you submitted the nomination. There are so many decision ready applications being asked for the training benchmark info. I think realistically you have to wait around 5 months these days. 4 months is lucky. 5 months is average. 6 months is annoying.

Hey @brar0000 maybe both you and I will get our news on the same day . I think we will hear something at the start of next week. I didn't get any document requests for my visa... I'm hoping they looked at it and its all a-ok once my nom is approved

It wouldn't surprise me if they're picking up a few end of July files so it brings down their processing time average which they probably have to publish every so often....

I wouldn't worry about your timeline stacy. Only people who apply for nomination and visa at the same time (or within 2/3 weeks of each other) get their nominations and visas at the same time. Immi are just processing mid-end June applications now so id say you will hear something in the next 7 days

welcome back fireblade.... Did you have to re-apply for visa? Did you not have a visa lodged in March???? weren't you the one who's company was getting monitored?

Your signature says you haven't had a case officer assigned yet? Is this correct? You and your migration agent haven't heard a thing that you are aware of?
