I am still patiently waiting for information on my 143 submitted December 2013 - I have not gone through an agent - Police check and medical nearly running out, so it looks as if I may have to renew them shortly - Does anyone know of the implications of going over to Australia on an e-visitor visa whilst waiting for the 143 to come through?

Fantastic news What is your visa is it a 143 contributory and are you doing it yourself or through an agent? when did you put in the initial application please? Sorry but can't help with your query. kind regards

I lodged my application in December 2013 - did my Police check when they suggested and my medical - failing all else will fly out to Oz and then when they grant my visa I can fly to New Zealand and be offshore for it to be granted (hopefully)

It is ridiculous, I agree, you would think they could supply a little more information on the processing times - as I have already had my medical and it looks as if I will now have to re do it.

Has anyone heard what month they are now processing for the 143 Visa please - ?

Hi Perthpops No not using an Agent going it alone - I started at the beginning of the year thinking I would hear something in June and then more info came out and it just looks as if it could be September or even October, just hoping I hear something before October as my medical runs out then.

Hi Perthpops I have so far done everything you have done and as yet not been asked for my aos. I am hoping it will be done at the latest September as I think time scale has increased slightly Hoping to fly out end of October fed up of waiting now.

I lodged my 143 in December 2013 - not through an agent I did it myself - has anyone else lodged theirs at the same time and heard anything since re form 80, medical and police check, which I have completed. many thanks Sylvia

Hi jemmasykes - I lodged my original 143 visa in December 2013 - had an acknowledgement letter in the March 2014 - saying commence medicals - police check and Form 80 in 10 months time - which I have already done I am just waiting now for it to be assigned to a co - which I'm hoping will be July 2015, however not sure how long it will be once a co has been assigned - hopefully not long - if anyone knows the answer to this question please let me know - many thanks

Hi Becky So how long did she have to wait from it being allocated to a Case Officer for them to let her know that the CPV had been granted and then the time your mum had to get over to Oz? Can't seem to get a definitive answer to this question. I lodged my application December 2013 many thanks

Hi Petina Just read your timeline - have you actually submitted your form 80 - as I thought you didn't do this until you were asked by your case officer along with the medical and police certificate. Am now a bit worried!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Veronica - Congratulations on obtaining your visa - Can I ask when you actually lodged your first application (ie paid 1st instalment). when it is allocated to an officer how long does that take? - did you encounter any problems? Many thanks

I submitted my 143 visa in December 2013 Does anyone know the waiting period before I am assigned a case officer and also once assigned how long does it take for a decision when the visa is granted. Then how long do I have before I need to get over there? I have balance of family and meet all the criteria. I have already got my police check and medical. I have just read that the time has increased from 18 months to 22/ 24 months waiting. many thanks
