I am moving over to the Sunshine coast just above Brisbane in September (as long as the visa arrives soon). I did go over for a visit back in January and made a few phone calls to check out the work situation, but I was wondering if anyone out there knows what its like finding work over there in this aspect of the building trade?
We nearly decided to go and live in Perth, but theres way too many Brits, like Blackpool in the sun.

After being here for a couple of months I recon that with the amount of high rise building going on in and around Brisbane it would be reseonably easy to find work.I'm a chippy and had no probs.
