The way I see it one can fly the usual route into Perth, Sydney, Melbourne etc. and then make the domestic hop. Guest Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 I've flown to Singapore and then a quick hop to Darwin. Its only about 3-4 hours to Darwin from Singapore direct. If you go via Sydney or Melbourne you have to fly 7,8 hours to get there from Singapore and then change flights and fly back again adding another few hours on. Seems daft to me.
