I know everyone spends different but what is essential/govt required: (in brackets I have put what I pay now) Council tax similar? (£94pcm) Water rates (40pcm) Gas/Elec (£100pcm) Fuel for car per litre (£1.40 per litre) Car insurance (about £350 each) House insurance (£200 ish) I'm sure there are more requirements in the UK but I can't think! Obviously, phones and other things that I can shop around for are fine. Anything else you could add to this please do as it will really make a clearer picture for us.
