Hi All,

I would like to check the pricing for Insulin in Australia. I will be moving to Perth and I take Novorapid and Lantus. If anyone can help me know the prices for these in Australia it would be a great help.

Also how to enrol for PBS as i read somewhere that you can by insulin at a cheaper prices if u are under PBS.

Any help on this would be helpful..

Thanks.

As an insulin diabetic you will need to get a GP as soon as possible and he/she will join you to the National Diabetic Scheme. This then entitles you to get six months supply of each insulin for the price of one scrip. Can't remember how much a scrip is now but about $34.00.

Also have a look at the Diabetes Australia site and recommend you join and they will send you magazines and its good for getting information etc.
