emmaroo
I was granted PR in 1992 as I was on my parents application, I however spent many years off shore but was granted a RRV back in 2010 so what I want to know is when I would be able to apply for citizenship? Will it be once I have fufilled the 2 year onshore? Any help or advice appreciated! Emma :cute:
pintpot
I think the DIAC website (and the law) is quite clear on it: https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/citz/startIntervalCalc.do
RockDr
sorry emmaroo, it's four continuous years onshore now (with a max of 12months out of the country during that time, of which only three months can be in the last year), at least one of the four years has to be on PR visa. Ok, well I will just have to stick around for another couple of years!
