sarah2603 Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 Hiya my partner is working in Perth as a Geologist on a 457, and I'm thinking about moving over this summer once I finished uni. I'm in the events industry, so I was wondering if anybody knows what the situation is like over there? From what I gathered, there seem to be better/more opportunities around the east coast than in WA... I also wonder what it's like when you compare the whole of OZ to the UK. It seems that within events there is quite a bit around here, is it the same in OZ? Or does the whole 'it's a booming economy' thing only apply for mining/oil/engineering? Thanks for any advice!
