restless123
IELTS is part owned by IDP, which is then part owned by 38 universities in Australia. So if the universities stipulate IELTS as an entry requirement, what is DIAC supposed to do? It'd be silly to force prospective students to take 2 separate English language tests, and it'd also mean DIAC have to assess using 2 different systems, and also people shopping for the easier test.
