Guest Melanie Lang
Hi My dog had the RNATT blood sample taken over 2 weeks ago and it was sent off to the lab by the vets but when I called to see if they had the results yet they said it can take unto 4 weeks, is this true! Just would be really great to get it sorted so I can apply for there import permit and this seems so long? Thanks for any help.
BobPetairUK
Dear Melanie Yes it can take up to 4 weeks. Basically all the rabies tests are done by 2 labs, so your vets send it to their lab who send it on to one of the testing labs, hence the delay. If you would like any help, then we offer a service where we get the permit, do the bloods and do everything if you like. Guest Melanie Lang
Hi Bob Thanks for your quick reply, ok great that puts my mind at rest that it is normal to take 4 weeks. Time is getting pretty tight but I think we'll be ok to apply for the import licence, I am planning on getting you guys to pick my dog up and get him on the plane anyway, I've had a quote from Joanna already. Thanks, Mel
