what would you do 175 before July 1st OR 176 after July 1st

Hi,

 

I am going to do IELTS in April and the timeline for skills assessment (ANMC) is around 8 weeks now which means that I might just make it to lodge 175 visa before July 1st. However, after reading some posts here where people waited 2-3 years for 175 visa grant, the 176 seems the way to go. I definitely won`t be able to process the state sponsorship till July 1st though so I would have to go through the new EOI etc.

I know that nobody owns a crystal ball ( or maybe someone does?:wink:) and I am just asking for opinion what do you think might be better in this situation. Does someone have a RECENT experience with 175, how long did the process take?

 

I know that SS in some states does not take long at all but we are looking into Queensland and it is the ONLY state apart from Tasmania I think that wants nursing registration not only skills assessment to apply:arghh:
