garetgax Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Hi Ive 2 questions:- We are now due to the eoi changes looking to get out to oz earlier than anticipated on a 457 and apply for permanent residency in oz. Under a 457 as we would be intending to live in oz do we come under a permenant resident or overseas resident in terms of tax? Im hoping it isnt the latter. Also what do we need to do re driving etc and what are the implications re insurance. Our 350z will be being shipped over there and I dont fancy insuring it without any potential no claims etc. Is oz car insurance steep? thx Graham.
