knight2931 Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Hi, looking to move from the Uk to Brisbane, will be coming on my wifes visa as she's a nurse, what will I need for me to start working, I have 22 years experiance as a Bricklayer. Qualification City & Guilds Advanced Craft in Brickwork. I am also competent with other works floor/wall Tiling, paving, concreting & drainage, I know I require a white card for working on site, but do I need to get my skills assesed to work. I work as a self employed sub contractor here in the uk, How do things work over there...! Looking to get moved out before the end of this year, hope you can give me some sound advice.
