RobandCatherine
This will sort you out, went along last year & thought it was an excellent evening. Copied & pasted from the-riotact. Carols by Candlelight has been bringing the joy of Christmas to Canberran families for more than six decades, and Woden Valley Youth Choir would like to invite you and your family to share in the spirit of Christmas at Commonwealth Park on 14 December. Ian McLean will again host the event, and Woden Valley Youth Choir will be leading the singing of carols accompanied by the Canberra City Band. This year’s guest artists will include Peter Cousens and Rachael Thoms. To help you join in, carol sheets and candles will be available for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to this year’s sponsored charity, Autism Asperger ACT. So, bring your family, friends and a picnic dinner, and join thousands of others for an inspiring evening of music and celebration, as you sing along to your favourite Christmas carols in the beautiful surroundings of Commonwealth Park.
