Guest mandy77
Hi. I am currently working as a Auxilary Nurse in UK. I have 7 years experience. I have my PR Visa and am heading back to OZ in next year or so and wondered if any hospitals use Auxilary nurses like they do here in UK. Thanks, Mandy:wink:
Guest jtrd
Do you know, I'm not too sure that they do. I haven't worked as an RN in Aust for close to ten years now and back then it was all trained staff but just as we were leaving to come over here one hospital (that I know of) had just started employing NA's to do patient transport (to xray etc). I don't know if that has been extended or not. None of my nurse friends have ever mentioned it.
Guest guest30038
Yes they do (similar). They're called AIN's (Assistants in nursing)
