It was signed for on 7 August, almost 6 weeks ago, and they still havent taken the payment for our application. As I understand things, the payment is the first sign of 'movement' during the application process, and I never thought I would say it, but I wish they would just take our money!! Has anyone else experienced such long delays for the payment to come out? I am wondering if I should phone them and chase it up, but don't want to annoy them at such an early stage (after all, our fate is in their hands!). Its killing me knowing that during these 6 very long weeks for us (checking my bank account a few times every day!), that our application has probably not even been opened...
