Guest Dashuto
My fiance and I decided on a date of November 19th for our marriage in Australia, and are going to process our visa application (300--->820) within a bit over a week. I worry that the time to handle my case could take so long, that the wedding would not be possible. I am living in America, and would travel to Australia for the wedding. Can anyone offer me experience or advice on this matter? Should we push the wedding back a few months and re-attain our NOIM? Should we just attempt as we are, and if it takes too long change the visa-status once we marry? We're both very worried about this, but that date and no later is the best time for our families. To change it would be to push it clear back near February.
Guest siamsusie
Hi Dashuto, You are lodging your 300 PMV in the States and I cant tell you what the time frames are from there. In the UK they can be anything from 8 weeks to 6 months it would appear. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/58449-summary-spouse-visa-processing-times-offshore-uk-please-add-your-stats-350.html This could be entirely different in the States. I would ask when you lodge your application. I hope it all works out for you. Susie
