We are still living in temp accom in South Yarra (nice but far too expensive). We applied for a property in Mount Martha but didn't get it, can't believe the stress of looking for a home. Starting to panic a little now as our container arrives in 3 weeks and still not found a home. I've seen one in Chelsea, but don't know anything about the area, went for a meal there last night and got mixed feelings... can anyone tell me what Chelsea is like to live for poms... i know it's near the beach and has a strip of shops BUT I've looked at crime figures and its scared me, have applied for a property but now thinking to withdraw, wondered why it had electric gates and 10 ft wall around it! olly Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 Welcome Jillgamble, Chelsea is fine, but if you liked Glen Waverley why not keep trying there, even the surrounding suburbs like Vermont, Wantirna South?
