Guest The Pom Queen Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 Well the weather is a lot different to Liverpool and a lot hotter than Melbourne. We haven't been in Cairns long enough to advise you on everything, yes it is hot, it's been around 31 since we have been here and drops to early mid twenties at night. We have had the air con on solid, but I am loving the heat. Schools, there are good and bad like everywhere, we have got our children in to an excellent school which ranks a lot higher than the one they were at in Melbourne, I am more than impressed with it at the moment. Cairns is a very touristy place so there is always something going on, it is lovely to walk down the Esplanade of a night with all the cafe/bars etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
