I heard if you travel this slows down your application process that is why I postponded my travel last year untill this year I am on graduate visa too.But to make sure ask with your MA are you using a MA if not ask to the relevant processing centre just send an email they will tell you which processing centre you are applying?Regards,

No, you just let then know you are going and if it happens to be that it would be granted while you are away, they just wait until you are back in the country. The thing which would be more of a pain is that they issue you with bridging visa a when you apply (although it doesn't kick in until your 485 expires). As soon as you leave the country you loose that so if it looks like your visa won't be granted until after your 485 expires you need to fill in a form to reapply for bridging visa a.

Good luck.

Mine took 6 days from receipt of email to the AFP clearance arriving in the post. I'd say it is fairly imminent.

Hi Blossom,

Do you have any Idea when My visa will get granted.

My Timeline.

Application -21st June 2012

Ack - 29th June.

Visa - 857

High Risk Country.

DRC applied through MA

I am waiting for a long time now. When I asked my MA they say they cant do anything about the wait time. I can see that some guys non-DRC have been granted way before. Is there anything I can do to fast tack my visa.

Thanks

Have you got your agent to phone up and check that your file was put into the drc section? Mine wasn't, and as soon as they realised it was processed.

My friend got pr today.... nom and visa 6/4/2012... case off 6/02/2013... nom approved same day...ask for medical send on 14/02/2013... co want contract again with some change.. send 18/02/2012.. Visa app today
hi mates, I don't get it ... What exactly means ,,nomination approved'' and after what does DIAC approves?? My understanding is that PRCB is the nomination and it is approved after the employer receives the RCB approvement (after all the docs lodged and situation at the moment of lodgement). The approvement at the moment of CO allocation means they look again at the actual business situation? I mean, they're searching if the position nominated is still available or they judge based on docs at the moment of lodgement of nom ???

Hi all,

Look at Parramatta!!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This mailbox handles enquiries about applications under the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) and Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS).

It is important that you read this entire email as it provides answers to many questions about ENS/RSMS processing. Please be aware that if your query is addressed by this email or does not relate to an ENS/RSMS application already lodged you will not receive an individual response.

If your enquiry is urgent and relates to an ENS or RSMS case currently with the Melbourne Processing Centre you can expect a reply within 5 working days.

Post 1 July 2012 Applications

Due to the large volume of applications lodged before 1 July 2012 our current allocation of e-lodged cases is limited.

At the moment our system is not readily identifying applications declared as “Decision Ready” by a registered migration agent. As an interim measure we suggest that you send an email to the relevant processing office mailbox advising that the application is decision ready with the TRN number highlighted in the subject line. Please ensure that the application is decision ready.

Attachments for e-lodged applications

We appreciate that there have been some challenges around e-lodging attachments.

All supporting documentation for e-lodged applications however should be uploaded through the e-lodge system as they will be automatically filed and linked to your case.

Attachments forwarded by other means have been known to go astray causing delays in the finalisation of the application. Please ensure that you are familiar with the advice around attachments on the DIAC website.

NOTE: The only documents that should be mailed/emailed to processing centers are those specifically requested by the case officer.
