Also what about your medical, when I filled in the visa form it said not to have medicals until told to do so?. My employer received an acknowledgement of nomination on 20th June, my visa application was handed in on 21st June, I received my acknowledgement letter on 2nd July, I didn't use an agent either and apparantly I have already been assigned a CO, so fingers crossed I won't be waiting too long either :-), although I am taking my husband and 4 children, maybe that will hold things up?? For most of the thousands of applications received we still need to: enter the case into our systems; assess bridging visa eligibility; issue acknowledgement letters; and create case files. We expect that these tasks will take most of July 2012 to complete. If you currently hold a visa and this visa will expire in July please ensure this is highlighted in an email to this mailbox. We will seek to ensure that your bridging visa is decided as quickly as possible. For all other June applicants please wait until at least August to make any follow-up enquiry about your application. We cannot respond to progress enquiries for these applications before then. Applications lodged with DIAC post-1 July 2012 From 1 July 2012 all applications must be made online. Applications can be e-lodged through our website: http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/ens-rsms.htm If you experience any difficulties with this process please ensure that you are familiar with the material at http://skillselect.govspace.gov.au/ This Contact Us button at the top of the page at this site links to a form via which any IT issues can be raised with DIAC. Medical done with the help of ehealth and finalized in 10 days.Then i got mail from paramatta that your kids medical attached with your application. Lodged the application at Perth Centre of Excellence, I'd posted my application to my Aunt so she had it ready to hand in as soon as the Nomination had been acknowledged. Can't wait to get the all clear, had hoped to be out this month but due to confusion and bad admin by the employers things didn't quite run as smoothly from the start, but never mind we finally got to the application stage in the end!! Not agent ready visa application but got a CO very fast...Told last week that meds cleared and 'still' processing application but this seems to be days for some applicants / weeks for others / i had read this was the last piece of the jigsaw but maybe not............ yilmazve Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 Hi all, My husband applied for 475 regional state sponsorship for WA on 15 June, 2012. Case officer was allocated on 26 June and we went for health check on 26 June. Medicals finalised on 6th of July. We are excitedly waiting for any kind of news from our C.O. I hope things go well and we get our visa soon. My husband is an ICT project manager but had his skills asessed as an ICT business analyst. We have 2 daughters 4 and 6 years old. We are planning to settle in Mandurah since it is the most reasonable place. Don't ask me my criteria for the "reasonable". I don't know!!! Just felt so... The problem is that I don't think he can find jobs in regional areas but there are hundreds of ads in Perth about his profession. Do you have any idea to waive or did you hear anything about the restriction of 475 visa. Are there any ways to make it legal to work in Perth?
