Guest rebeccae
Please dont be put off, ive had lots of appo bricklayers and all have done well. You really need to go to college learn the basics for one year, i find the 2nd year and craft year a waste of time, you will learn more on a site running in, when your confidence builds up which would not take long start racking corners up, good practise even though any desent brickie knows profiles rule. Offer to work for a brickie for free if thats what it takes (learn the hard way). I wish you the very best of luck....JIM

KIRK AND CO
Why not look into becoming a dental technician. I had no trouble obtaining my visa so why not give it ago but you still need to do an apprenticship.
