mxh Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 Hi all, Just over a week until I arrive in Sydney, so was going through my list of 'things to do' again (which was taken from one of the several, very handy lists that have appeared on PIO), when I came to the following line :- "Consider buying a car sooner rather than later. Used cars are cheap if you don't yet qualify for credit" I will certainly be wanting to buy a car at some point, but could someone explain what this is getting at? Guest harters Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 Not sure what that means but I ended up using Bank West for a loan as the other banks wouldn't. Very helpful and explained everything but based in WA but you should be able to find something similar if you need credit. Don't forget the cost of the rego, licence and the tax you'll have to pay.
