nathan2010
Hi All, Im Nathan, Im visiting Australia a week on Tuesday on a Working holiday Visa. I have managed to secure employment with a company in my trade as a motor mechanic. The company has also stated that they wish to sponsor me to stay in Australia and become a resident and work for them on a permanent basis. I have a National Btec Certificate level 3 in vehicle repair and maintenance and various course certificates I have completed over the years. I have 7-8 years experience and im 24 years old. My question to any motor mechanics that made the move over there is what certificates did you need to show while going through the permanent visa process? Is a Btec a sufficient qualification? Also how long does this process take when being sponsored by a business? Thank you Nathan
nathan2010
oh yeah, and do you have to sit a skills test if being sponsored by a business or is that just for self sponsored people? Nathan
