Darwin - too expensive?

Interesting what people like and don't like. We have lived here for nearly 4 years, rarely use our air con at home, fans generally do us, the house has good air flow (it's an elevated house). I find shops etc so cold - Spotlight is positively Baltic!

Being able to play basketball, badminton, football etc in the yard is great! I also try to work from home as much as possible, either set myself up on the balcony or under the house in the shade and it's beautiful.

Mossies - yes, pain in the arse - I use lots of coils and sandalwood burners and have found great insect repellant called 'The Locals', Deet free, all natural ingredients, discovered in WA but can buy on line.
