Montfort international

Hi there,

We have recently engaged Montfort to advise and deal with our financial status. We were first introduced to Montfort at the 2008 Australian Expo in Leeds and then just before Christmas we went to a seminar organised by The police force with which Montfort had a big input in. (Hopefully that says something)

They seemed very professional and full of experience and knowledge of the whole australian migration process etc - dealing with pensions, any policies you may have.

They work in conjunction with MoneyCorp and Ian Harrop & Associates Migration agents & ANS Bank. Obviously this comes at a cost but you gotta weigh up the time you would have to do all the work yourself or get someone who knows the ins and out of Australian migration system who will do it all for you.

Just a breakdown, it has cost us £4000.00 for family of 4 to employ their services. Within a day of meeting with Geraint Davies on 10th Jan, he is the company owner/director we had calls from MoneyCorp, Ian Harrop-visa applic. and ANS Bank starting to deal with everything.

Just today i have been to Oxfod to start visa process with Ian Harrop. You don't need to visit, everything can be done over the phone and by email but 1 big swoop, did it all in person. They can also certify original documents.

Quite impressed by the whole service. Obviously everyone is different and experiences different problems. At the seminar, we got talking to a police woman who herself used Montfort and could not speak anymore highly off them and is now out in WA.

£4000 is a hell of alot of money and when we handed it over we thought OMG to put it lightly:skeptical: have we just paid some dud people a load of money. But so far so good. But we'll see the day we receive that permanent visa.

Hopefully off to Brisbane at the end of the year. Just want to be there right now!!!! :daydreaming::daydreaming:Skilled visa on CSL.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

H

Guest Midlanders

Hi

We have also engaged Monford international, after meeting them at an expo in Oct 08, but our fees are around £1100.00 nothing like 4k someone else posted earlier. They are indeed a professional company and their knowledge of what to do and what not to do is mind boggling.

We have a massive folder to read and until now we have not done much reading since all the changes in processing time have come into affect.

We felt that with our pensions state & private, insurance policies we own etc etc... it was far easier to paysome one else to organise the paperwork/ transfers etc, has the penalies if you dont do your financial things within 6 months of arriving can be quite significant.

Taking into account your container may take up to the first 6 weeks to arrive, then get unpacked and then try to sort all this stuff out.... it was far easier to have someone else to do it for you and also get their advise on what things to transfer over, what should be closed down and how your affairs sit once your all settled.

Hope this helps

Hi we did deal with with montefort to help with pesions, endowments etc but not our visa, that was already sorted. We had a cosultation and one meeting but personally we felt it wasnt worth the money we paid as the advise on cashing in endowments and pension advise was what we had already planned anyway. You really can look into most of it yourself but thats just our personal experience.
