KangarooJack
Hi all We got quote for Shipping 530 cubic feet to Australia in Octobe 09 of £2,053. I decided to put some pressure on them telling them that since then I've had some better quotes quite a bit lower, they then came back to me with a price of £1777.00. Hope this can be helpful
Guest The Pom Queen
It just shows that they can come down in price if it means getting your custom. Well done!! Kate

Guest Guest31881
Thats good practice for when you get here, When you go to buy expensive items, then ask for discounts and barter on the price........... You should fit in well here:biglaugh:
deb8181
I managed to knock Pickfords down as we had two cheaper quotes from John Mason and PSS. They quoted something like £3888.00 for a 20ft container and i managed to get them down to £3388.00!
Guest Mystery^Customer1974
I bartered with John Mason, got a good discount, can't remember how much but never pay what they ask. I told them I'd been quoted cheaper by PSS is it? Then...when the shipment arrived we were told we had to pay an extra £150 or something as the load had taken up for space than quoted...we refused and they dropped it! Trying it on I think.
