Although I would love to go to Hong Kong, Singapore was the better option for us as it is really clean, theres no trouble and there is loads for the kids to do. We were there for 3 days in October and managed to fit in the Night Safari (www.nightsafari.com.sg), swimming with dolphins on Sentosa (www.underwaterworld.com.sg) and lots of shopping. We could walk around the streets at night-time and it just felt really safe. All the Singaporeans we met were really helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and take our 2 girls as well (ages 7&9). Saying that, they are happy anywhere that there is a swimming pool.
