They were out here on a 457 visa for about 17 months prior to going back. Does anyone know if they will be allowed to get another 457 sponsor and what would be the best way to go about things as they now are trying to get back. Hope someone out there can help or advise. Many thanks.... I dont think it matters if they have already held a 457. I am sure they can try again with a new employer without any problem at all. The only down side, they will need to start all over again with police checks, medicals etc etc, as they are only valid for 12 months. Is it not worth them looking at going PR?
