Guest Bet Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Hi ya I think i have asked this question before, with no responses, but now it is 9 weeks and counting till I leave with my other half, :shock: :shock: :shock: and we are ttyring to make sure we have a bit of an understanding of all we may come across. Partner is a brickie so will be working in the construction trade, know he has to have a red card, to show he has completed his health and safety course, but wanted to see if anyone else had any general information in relation to joining unions, etc etc, everything is so different here in the UK, and we want to make sure that he is able to work upon arrival.
